As of 2026, Asset B.V. is taking an important next step in its development with the establishment of its own R&D department. This marks a valuable expansion of our organizational structure, alongside Makso Assemblage B.V. and Makso Protoshop B.V.
With Asset, we continue to build on our existing strengths while responding more effectively to the evolving needs of customers in the electronics sector. Each company operates from its own area of expertise, complementing and reinforcing one another. Makso Assemblage focuses on high-quality electronics assembly, Makso Protoshop specializes in prototypes and small series, and Asset is now clearly positioned in development, optimization and strategic sourcing.
From procurement to development
Asset originated in the early years of this century. For more than 25 years, the primary focus has been on PCB sourcing for customers. As of January 1, 2026, this scope is being expanded to include R&D activities.
In a rapidly changing market, the demand for partners who go beyond production is increasing. Customers are looking for companies that contribute from the early development stages. This includes PCB and electronics design, software development and the development of test systems. At the same time, attention is given to design for manufacturing (DFM), cost efficiency, BOM optimization and component selection. Asset actively responds to these needs with a focused approach.
